More than traditonal moroccan cooking, this class is a complete immersion into the moroccan culture and family life.
We encourage you to interact and create a truly unique experience as you spend your day hosted by a Moroccan family, preparing food, visiting the souks and baking at the local farine, finishing with a meal that you’ll all share together in traditional moroccan style.
Your lesson will entail:
*Shopping at the local souk
*Bread making and taking the bread to the local farine for baking
*Preserving Lemons
*Traditional Moroccan Salads – what you make will depend on the seasonal produce and can be decided on prior to your souk visit
*Cooking with Moroccan chermoula (specailty marinade)
*Moroccan Melaoui
*Moroccan Tagine of your choice – also depends on the seasonal produce and can be decided on prior to your souk visit
*Making Mint Tea
